I find it incredulous that members of the Catholic faith even attempt to call into question the "history" and leadership of the Watchtower. I am an ex JW searching right now, having some great discussions with a very knowledgeable Catholic. Not even he acts quickly to point out flaws in either the "history" or "leadership" of the Watchtower, realizing Catholics have a much worse history to overcome themselves.
Comparing sorted pasts should lead any level-headed Catholic running for the door. That said, there are other aspects which Catholics can hold to strong arguments with regards their faith - but that certainly does not come from a comparison of history.

In what sense Johnny? As far as a history of doctrine the Catholics beat the Witnesses hands down. If you're referring to specific instances they're usually blown out of proportion. For example, its little known that citizens of Rome routinely appealed to the Roman Inquisition because the punishment for any given crime was slighter than what the civil authorities meted out (as opposed to the Spanish Inquisition which requires a knowledge of the reconquista to understand).
