Maybe marriage for priests would be a solution ? why do they want to be celibate? isn't it optional? what did paul say ?
And what about Genesis 2v 18? and Be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth?

Bad things happen throughout history Anne, I can't get overly excited about this one. All evil needs to be hunted, this is no different. In time most of the monsters will be exposed. Those that aren't await the fires of hell which is more than their human pursuers can accomplish.

Every major denomination has had a problem with this, so marriage isn't an answer. Now, I'm of the pro-marriage camp which is one of the reasons I've drifted to the east. However, it isn't a panacea for all that ails and shouldn't be treated as such. That way lies false liberalization. Strictly speaking it is optional, as no one is required to become a priest. Even then their are hundreds of licitly ordained married priests in the United States. In this camp are both the Eastern Catholic priests and Anglican convert priests.

Just remember that all accused priests are not guilty.
I have an uncle who is an accused priest. There have been no actions taken by civil authorities because they do not believe that the incident occurred. He is having more problems with his bishop, who is trying to show that the Church is doing something.
I believe him. Perhaps because I want to. Perhaps because I know him.
My uncle has mentored many young men. He has led a number of them into the priesthood. Being placed into a position of mentoring young men to become priests, exposes our clergy to false claims by those seeking financial gain.
Regularly, we see convicted felons found to be Not Guilty when additional evidence or testing of evidence is discovered. Please do not forget that there are some falsely accused priests.

The First Epistle of Clement to the Corinthians
Chapter XLIV.—The ordinances of the apostles, that there might be no contention respecting the priestly office. Our apostles also knew, through our Lord Jesus Christ, and there would be strife on account of the office of the episcopate. For this reason, therefore, inasmuch as they had obtained a perfect fore-knowledge of this, they appointed those [ministers] already mentioned, and afterwards gave instructions, that when these should fall asleep, other approved men should succeed them in their ministry. We are of opinion, therefore, that those appointed by them, or afterwards by other reminent men, with the consent of the whole Church, and who have blamelessly served the flock of Christ in a humble, peaceable, and disinterested spirit, and have for a long time possessed the good opinion of all, cannot be justly dismissed from the ministry. For our sin will not be small, if we eject from the episcopate those who have blamelessly and holily fulfilled its duties. Blessed are those presbyters who, having finished their course before now, have obtained a fruitful and perfect departure [from this world]; for they have no fear lest any one deprive them of the place now appointed them. But we see that ye have removed some men of excellent behaviour from the ministry, which they fulfilled blamelessly and with honour.
