Oh if only I could write one. I know the numbers on the wall have some relationship to the book but I have no idea what that relationship is. There are at least two since that's the number of them that I have see (I'm guessing they are independently produced). In the last mass I went to there were even letters after some of the numbers. The dates I flipped to didn't appear to have any relavence.
A thorough explanation of the dark science of missal reading would be helpful. It might also be helpful, if Jeff approves, to take this explanation and post it up on the main board for future reference.
PS-> For the dear Catholics here this may sound odd. One must remember that every book a JW uses at a given meeting is produced in only one group (minus startlingly rare exceptions in minor language groups) the WatchTower Bible and Tract Society of New York.
PSS-> Additional notes about behavior might be helpful. I notice in my reading that holding hands with or up during the Our Father is frowned on. Most congregants do it, but the nuns I was watching today abstained as I expected.

gk - I don't have time to post much now but I can sure sympathize with a lot of what you are saying. What amazes me (well, part of what amazes me), is that many seem to do it without a missal at all. This might help - I see that they have a PDF version of it. www.usccb.org/liturgy/current/revmissalisromanien.shtml

Hi Gang:
Here is a book that may help:
"We Worship-A Guide to the Catholic Mass" by Oscar Lukefahr. The ISBN number is 0-7648-1212-2
