Fave band at the moment is the Chemical Brothers.
Don't really have an absolute favourite genre - it just needs to sound good!

OK, I am new at this and am starting out here with posting. Something safe and low risk. Favorite artist/band: tie--Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan Favorite genre: Classical -- the true Classical period, meaning 1760 to 1820.

This one is harder, but I tend to listen to the stuff I listened to as a teen - Yes, Tull, Pink Floyd, Genesis, etc. Otherwise, there are just songs I like from all different artists and groups.
God bless. Joan B.

Off the cuff I'd have to say Lorenna McKennitt
Favorite genre though is tougher. 80's rock is pretty cool. Everything from The Bangles to Europe (yes I know hair rock, lol)
What happened to Evanescence (sp)?
She was a really sweet girl. I remember she used to post at another JW place.

I love most genres of music. As I was growing up, I loved Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, The Who, Parliament Funkadelic, Commodores, Kool and the Gang, Earth, Wind and Fire, Thin Lizzy, and many more. These days I really like the White Stripes. The funny thing is; my wife looks like Meg White.

I love most genres of quality music. I listen to everything from salsa and reggae to Western Art Music (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionistic), country and western, and even hip-hop. My favorite is R&B. I love the legendary singers with great voices and showmanship helps too--like Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston (when she's healthy), Natalie Cole, and too many more to list.

Hi carlos When my family rebelled against the WT,I was one of these Mums who burnt T shirts and threw out music etc: wouldn't even let them watch the Gremlins....
I know there is some bad music around which influences people.but also some good yeah!
a friend and I share our tastes.along with my family 4 sons ..........8 G children.
I went to a school concert CofE they had a musical evening ,it was brilliant and they played/sang all the old/new music.
At my Aunts funeral ,we later went to a RC pub music was on in the background in another room. Also went to a B.Party another time in the same pub.this was frowned on by the fundies that's their problem.........they remind me of Rutherford.
Some of the OTT christians and Caths can be a bit silly about music.but then we have some who have to search the Bible to see if they are allowed to blow their nose and ............umm ! well I won't say it
