There were also some other denom churches. but the Rc ones were open so you could wander in and out and no-one bothered you.......... most churches elsewhere have to be locked .

Locked churches of other denominations?? but if they were open what would anyone find? bare walls and chairs?or pictures of famous preachers. Many people are able yo use the visual aids to pray not everyone is an intellectual.so IMO and I have changed my mind on this. We all worry far too much about externals.......

jeremiah O Donovan Rossa, well tell you what I would be pretty ticked off if my family were treated badly also. We celebrate Guy Fawkes night over here, they make a film about William Wallace, Why? lots of patriots. yet some are classed as villains. I hate violence mind you .no desire to blow people up. ........Population control got to keep those catholics in check. Can see a list of exports of food from Cork on a single day 14th November . I am waiting for more books. Black Potatoes ....Susan Cambell bartoletti. can read some of it online. Mention is made of how Irish families no matter how poor never turned away a guest wether traveller or beggar they considered Christ to be in the person of every guest. The British criticised the Irish for early marriages and large families a sympathetic Catholic Bishop explained it this way. 'They cannot be worse off than they are and...... they may help each other. They did.......... an Irish saying is 'It's easy to halve the potato where there is love' Now think about this folks. LOVE isn't that what Jesus taught us to do? Should any country starve? what can we all learn. TADGH AN ASNA was shot in the back.so many other stories. mans inhumanity to man when will it end. PHAROISM ............'let my people go''

I still don't believe we can talk to dead people.but I am not going to worry too much about that.....
Luther and reformers were handed over to satan? but Luther had some valid points and was vocal about his grievances.
How vocal should we be is the Question? how free are we REALLY to disagree? We saw a lot of control in the WATCHTOWER .........and were not free. Do we want to be enslaved all over again No! Yet still this is the way for some Christians.............. and different churches,
'Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty'.
What do we do with new found freedoms? what are we allowed to do? what are the boundaries?

Very sad... half way through the book Chapter V11 The Lords Of Ireland, .........anti Irish in spirit,in action and in religion. some of my readers may say that some of the Lords and the landlords in Ireland at the present day are catholics , so they are and so they were the whole of them in the days preceding the time of Henry V11.But if they were, they were English and aniti- Irish all the same, and the maurauding Catholic Englishman ,coming over to Ireland on his mission of murder and plunder during the 300 years preceding Martin Luther 's time murdered Irishmen as mercillessly and plundered them as ruthlessly as he has done during the last 300 years that he is Protestant .It is not religion, but booty, the Englisman is after in this world.Of course religion is very useful to him .It furnishes him with a pretext to enter a country and to take soundings of it. With the Bible on his lips, But the devil in his deeds. and what is more than that, neither religion nor nationality ever stood in the way of his plundering and murdering the children of the English invader who landed in Ireland a century or so before he landed there. ...........................................................................
During those 3 years in Ireland 45,46,47, the potato crops failed but the other crops grew well ,and, as in the case of my people in 45, the landlords came in on the people everywhere and seized the grain crops for the rent -not caring much what became of those whose labor and sweat produced those crops. The people died of starvation by the thousands .

So catholics do the right thing in the eyes of God and have their families and take care of them the best way they can..........then along come the protestants and their population control and Bible in their hands. I wonder if Ian Paisley has used birth control? how many others have? what does the Bible say about this?

Jesus died for people so they could have life.Forcing Catholics to convert or catholics forcing others to convert is not God's way .or anyone forcing anyone to convert is not the way.IMO. ..........................................................
Chapter XXIV ADMINISTERING RELIEF TO POOR PEOPLE---A FIGHT WITH THE LANDLORDS
In the summertime of the year 1862 something occured that brought me face to face with the English landlord garrison of the South of Ireland :something showed me the spirit of exterminating the old Irish race.that possessed some of these landlords Rumors reached Skibbereen in the month of may that much distress prevailed in the islands of Sherkin and cape Clear -Innis Cleire-the island of the clergy ;that the people there were dying of starvation .
.....................
Not going to type everything but ;...............
They took their lunch baskets with a lot of food their wives prepared for them...saw a man stretched out as if he were asleep they called to him to help them take sacks of meal they brought for distribution relief to poor people.the man turned his head high enough to look , and lay back upon the grass again-taking no further notice of them .they leaped ashore and found the man was unable to stand on his legs.he was dying of hunger They laid their lunch food before him to help himself while they brought the relief food into a house nearby .........They made a fatal mistake the man had eaten more than was good for him he was dead when they returned next day. ....................................
A Father Collins took them to see a bed-ridden woman who was living in a cleft of a rock on a hill back of his house .He went on his hands and knees getting into her house; Rossa went in after him in the same fashion ; and there was the poor woman stretched upon Flag stones covered with heath. She could not sit up to cook the measure of meal that we gave to a neighboring poor woman for her. Father Collins suggested that as we had some of the meal left, it would be no harm to give this neighboring poor woman an extra measure of it in consideration of her attendance upon the sick woman .They acted upon the suggestion and gave the extra measure .... Rossa lost his job by doing so .....

www.geocities.com/athens/atrium/1678/isn.html DUP barriaster Robert McCartney stated that "Paisley is a fascist who is more interested in an independant Ulster , a mini Geneva run by a fifth rate Calvin than union with Britain." "Paisley said: "The Romish man of sin is now in hell" "They breed like rabbits and multiply like vermin" Mr paisley also said he is a big fan of Saint Patrick and he would have been a follower of his Sunday Mirror (London England) February 8, 2004. Mr paisley said : "If saint Patrick were here today I would be One with him, I would be happy to walk after him, he could take the stick and I would fight his corner " The big man described Patrick as a "real man with fears and difficulties". ....................................... Sounds like the JW Watchtower we were involved in after all the Russells were respected members of the Presbytarian church. Charels taze Russell was the founder of jehovah's Witnesses. and the WT hated catholics. Russell then got mixed up with other churches and then got himself mixed up.and led others who followed him into more confusion............ including me. and where there is confusion there is what?
